MIAMI, Fla. -- Yes, it's news when Georgia Tech punts. Why? Because GT entered this game having not punted in 22 straight possessions. The last time they punted was on Nov. 14 at Duke. That means Iowa's defense -- as we all knew -- is to be taken seriously in this game. But guess what? So is Georgia Tech's. The Jackets were able to create a turnover on Iowa's first possession, thanks to a fumble by Marvin McNutt, but weren't able to do anything with it.
